Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated at no extra cost to you. Yes, you read that right. If you’re a UK taxpayer, ticking that Gift Aid box means your donation instantly grows by 25%. It’s like turning £10 into £12.50 without doing a thing.

How Gift Aid Helps Bliss Cavalier Rescue (and How You Can Help Too!)

Bliss Cavalier Rescue is a non-profit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Every penny we receive goes towards caring for these amazing dogs — whether it’s paying for veterinary treatment, food, or transport.

Now, imagine the impact of your donation being boosted by 25%. It might not sound like much on its own, but when hundreds of supporters tick that Gift Aid box, it adds up to thousands of extra pounds each year. Those extra funds mean we can rescue more dogs, provide specialist care for those with health issues, and ultimately give them the happy, waggy-tailed futures they deserve.

How Does It Work?

Gift Aid is ridiculously easy. Here’s how it works:

1. You make a donation to Bliss Cavalier Rescue.
2. If you’re a UK taxpayer, complete the super short form and tick the Gift Aid box here.
3. We claim an extra 25% on your donation from HMRC.

That’s it! No paperwork or extra hassle for you. Just tick the box, and we’ll do the rest. We work out the calculations for our gift aid manually so don’t worry about adding them up.

Are You Eligible?

To tick that magic box, you just need to:

• Be a UK taxpayer.
• Have paid at least as much Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax as the charity will claim on your donations in that tax year.
