  • ✅ Have all adult family members agreed? Adoption is a lifelong commitment, and all household members must be fully on board.
  • ✅ Have you considered the costs? Owning a Cavalier comes with financial responsibilities, including food, insurance, regular grooming, and ongoing veterinary care.
  • ✅ Are you aware of the breed’s hereditary health conditions? Cavaliers are prone to medical conditions such as heart disease and neurological and gastrointestinal issues. Be prepared for future veterinary care and regular appointments.
