Tia is a gorgeous Blenheim Cavalier; she is 7 years old and came into rescue from a pet home in sad circumstances.
She is a very loving girl and an absolute joy to have around. Tia is a very typical Cavalier; she loves everyone she meets and life in general. She enjoys a couple of short walks each day, she also travels very well. You can take her anywhere with no issues. Everyone that meets her falls in love instantly.
Tia loves children and would really enjoy a home with resident or visiting children that could fuss her. She would be fine with a dog-savvy cat. She adores other dogs both at home and when meeting new pals out and about. She does need a resident dog in her forever home as this is what she is used to.
She is heart clear, which is fantastic news. She came into rescue extremely overweight, sadly. She has lost a lot of weight since being in her foster home, but she will need to carry on with her diet and exercise once in her forever home. Tia does have some stiffness in her hips, but this is being helped with weight loss and a supplement.
Tia is in foster in Pontefract, Yorkshire. Her adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check.
