About Tegan

Tegan is a miniature Labradoodle and a retired breeding girl, she is 6 years old

She has a very sweet and gentle nature. Tegan has blossomed in foster care going from a very nervous girl to gaining confidence. She was initially a fussy eater and is now a real foodie!

She loves the company of other dogs and looks to them for guidance, she will need a resident dog to help her to keep learning and to help her with her confidence. Tegan walks well on the lead and has started to go up to strangers if they have a dog with them. She now very much enjoys her walks and comes to get her harness on when it’s time to go out! She loves cuddles and kisses and will paw at you for more, she has started to play with other dogs and her cheeky personality is starting to appear.

Tegan is not at all fond of smaller children as they are a bit too boisterous and noisy for her quiet nature. She is learning more each day and will take a little training in her new home. Tegan is fine when left for short periods of time but does like her human to be around so would need some one who is home most of the time.

Tegan has had a treatment for a very nasty ear infection and an extensive dental resulting in 10 teeth being removed. She is fit and healthy now and needs a good hours walk each day, building to more when she is more confident so her adopter must be fit and have plenty of time for training and exercise.

She is not cat tested and needs a home without young children, resident and visiting children must be over 12 years. She absolutely needs at least one confident and active doggy friend in her forever home.

Tegan is in foster in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet.
