About Sybil
Sybil is a gorgeous 6 year old Cavalier, she is looking for the most amazing forever home where she will be treated like a princess.
Sybil came into rescue after her life was saved by a wonderful vet team, she had Pyometra and her previous owner wanted her to be euthanased. The vet persuaded the owner to sign her over then called us for help.Sybil is an absolute dream to foster, we have seen such an amazing change to her and a huge lift in confidence thanks to the resident Cavaliers. They have taught her to play with toys and often now she is the one to start a play session! She has the funniest bark, its a little gruff bark and she scrapes her feet on the floor to encourage the other dogs to join in! She has made us so proud and we know this new found confidence will further improve when she finds her dream family. She is very good when out walking, loves everyone and all other dogs. She needs at least 2x 30 minute walks a day and her adopter can work with her on some recall training. She would also prefer to be allowed to sleep on her adopters bed!She had a dental with us and a vaccination course, the usual flea and worming treatments. She has a very quiet murmur, a grade 1 which sometimes cannot even be picked up. She has mild Chiari Malformation with pain and mild Syringomyelia, she is taking painkillers and will need to remain on these for the rest of her life to ensure she isn't in pain.Sybil isn't used to cats but would probably be ok with a dog savvy cat. Sybil needs playful Cavalier friends in her new home. Her adopter must be at home most of the time. She can be rehomed with resident and visiting children over 8 years.Sybil is in foster in North Lincolnshire. You will be required to travel to her foster home for the meet and greet. More information regarding our latest Covid-19 protocol will be made available following a successful telephone interview and home check. Please read our adoption procedure prior to filling in the online form. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
