Poppy is a sweet 17-month-old Cavalier girl who came to rescue due to unfortunate circumstances. She is looking for an active home with plenty of stimulation.
She enjoys playing with toys alone. Poppy could join a home with another young resident dog or be quite content as an only dog. She isn’t bothered by the resident cat and is comfortable around older, sensible children. Although Poppy has had some training, she would benefit from further training classes.
Poppy is a typical Cavalier who follows her humans everywhere and loves to snuggle on your lap. Poppy currently sleeps on the bed and sleeps well.
She walks well on a lead, but she has a tendency to jump up at your legs while walking due to her excitement. At present, she goes on two 30-minute walks per day.
Poppy travels well in the car and is currently secured with a seatbelt and harness.
She has no known health issues, but any potential owner should be aware of the common health concerns associated with the breed.
