About Peke

Peke has come into rescue in very sad circumstances and we are looking for a forever foster home for him.

Peke came over from Romania in 2017 as a rescue, he had been living on the streets. His adopter recently has gone into care as she has dementia and can no longer take care of Peke. His whole world has been turned upside down.

He is the most adorable, loving boy and so friendly. He gets on very well with other dogs, cats and older children.

Peke has poor vision, this is age associated and he currently does not need treatment. He needs a kind, understanding foster parent to take care of him and show him around until he gets used to his new home. He has some slight luxation of his knees and arthritis, he is quite overweight so losing some will really help his mobility.

Due to Peke's age and circumstances we are looking for a very special person, or family, that can take care of him in a 'forever foster' role. His new foster parent will need to be home most of the time and give him lots of love and attention. We will keep Peke under the rescue 'wing' and his vet bills will be paid by us for the remainder or his life. Ideally his new home will be located within a reasonable radius to one of the rescue vets in either Lincolnshire or the North East.

Please read our adoption procedure prior to filling in the online form. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
