Molly is a beautiful Blenheim Cavalier; she is 5 years old and came into rescue from a breeding establishment.
She is a loving little girl whose confidence grows daily, and her cheeky/playful side is showing. She has started to trust humans and will happily come for cuddles and get on your knee. She is a typical Cavalier, very food motivated and loves dinner and treat time
Molly has learnt to walk on the lead alongside the other resident dogs and loves nothing more than exploring and being out on walks. She is currently being taken for 2 x 30/40 minutes through the week, with long walks at the weekends.
She loves to sleep on the bed with her humans through the night and will sleep either in a dog bed or on the sofa during the day. She travels extremely well in the car and curls up on the back seat quite happily.
She has a loud heart murmur and has had a heart scan while in rescue, her heart isn’t enlarged at this time but a scan would need to be repeated in 6 months. Currently, no medication is required, but this could change following her next echocardiogram. Molly has mild chiari malformation pain, which is being well helped by inexpensive pain relief, which she will need to continue taking.
Molly would prefer a quieter home with at least one confident resident dog to help her grow in confidence. Molly is cat friendly and ignores the resident cats in her foster home, but you still need to be careful. She cannot live with children under 10 years.
