About Maya

Maya is a 14-week-old Cavalier puppy with bags of energy and a mischievous streak that keeps her foster mum on her toes! Like all young pups, if you take your eye off her for a second, she’s likely to be up to something. Luckily, after a busy day of play and exploring, she settles well and sleeps soundly in her crate overnight.

She’s sweet, affectionate, and very cuddly when she slows down, but she’s also clever and curious, which means she needs her energy channelled in the right direction. Maya will benefit greatly from puppy classes, consistent training, and plenty of positive reinforcement to help her grow into a well-rounded adult Cavalier.

Maya loves playing with her ball, exploring the garden, and chasing butterflies or birds. She eats best alongside another dog, so we feel she’ll thrive in a home with a playful young canine companion to keep her company.

She’s still very young, so adopters must be prepared for all the challenges (and rewards!) that come with raising a puppy, house training, lead work, recall, manners, and setting boundaries. With time, patience, and commitment, Maya will blossom into the most loving family member with years of fun and affection ahead.
