Mabel is a lovely 4-year-old black and tan Cavalier girl who came into rescue from a breeding establishment.
She is growing in confidence daily in her foster home and has even started relaxing and sleeping on the sofas. She is house-trained and will go straight to the door when needed. Mabel travels well in the car in the back seat with a seatbelt, where she curls up and sleeps for the journey.
Mabel has a toy rat she absolutely adores and carries everywhere with her; she plays with her rat and doesn’t like any other dogs to get it! However, Mabel’s playful side is really evident as she plays well with the foster’s youngest dog. Due to this it is recommended for the adopter to have a confident, playful dog to help Mabel carry on growing with her confidence and playful side.
She is cat-friendly and would suit a quieter home with older children and someone who is home most of the time. She is on inexpensive medication due to her Chiari Malformation pain and has undergone a major dental procedure. She is a gorgeous girl who, when settled in her forever home, has a lot of life to give.
Mabel is in foster in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.

The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check.
