Ludo 5 year old Blenheim Cavalier
Ludo is a handsome, Blenheim 5-year-old Cavalier boy looking for his pawfect forever home. Reduced adoption fee applies.
He is full of energy and loves nothing more than to please his humans.  This playful pup is a pro at catching flies and moths, but watch out for any wasps as he can get a little carried away in his pursuit! Ludo is not fond of small furries and will happily chase after any bird that enters the garden.

Despite his playful nature, Ludo loves nothing more than snuggling up on your lap for affection. He’s always ready for a treat and will sit patiently while waiting for one. He can be a bit vocal when he sees other dogs, but as soon as you walk on, he’s perfectly fine. Ludo is a social butterfly and is currently in foster care with other dogs. However, he can be a bit boisterous and knock them over, so a calm female dog would be his perfect companion. Alternatively, he can also be rehomed as an only dog.

Ludo has been neutered and had an extensive dental, so his pearly whites look as good as new. Unfortunately, he has a grade 5 murmur, but he is stable. He’s currently on pimobendan, which is working really well for him- it costs £20 a month. He also has mild Syringomyelia, which is easily treated with inexpensive meds – cost £10 per month.

Ludo is an active dog who would benefit from some training classes to help him channel his energy in a positive way. He sleeps soundly through the night and is happy to snooze until morning. Due to his high energy levels, we recommend no children under the age of 12 in his forever home.

If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion who will keep you on your toes, Ludo might be the perfect match.

Ludo is in foster in Elsecar, Near Barnsley. His adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check.
