Lola is a beautiful 9-year-old Cavalier who came into Rescue under extremely sad circumstances.
When Lola first came to her foster home, she was very scared and was resource-guarding with the other dogs in the foster home. As she has settled over time, she now cuddles up with the resident dogs and has even been known to play with balls!
She is a very loving girl who loves to be with you everywhere you go. She will curl up next to you on the sofa and the bed. Lola walks really well on her lead and is currently going for walks twice daily and loves being out and about. She is really good when meeting new people and dogs when she’s out. Lola can be left for short periods in the house and travels well in the car.
Since being in rescue, Lola has had her vaccinations and been spayed; unfortunately, her remaining teeth were removed. Lola has a grade 2 heart murmur which will need checking with the vet periodically. She has no other known health problems.
Due to her resource guarding, Lola can only be rehomed with older children and is not cat friendly.
Lola is in foster in Pontefract, Yorkshire. Her adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
