About Lilya

Lilya is a lovely 7 year old Tricolour Cavalier girl that came into rescue from a pet home.

Lilya is not a very active dog, she sleeps for periods of time after her walk. She does enjoy her playtime though with her toys. She only requires 30 minutes of exercise a day, she will tell you when she’s had enough, she walks well on the lead and loves to greet other people and dogs.

She is deaf and this causes her some anxiety but she is a sweet girl that loves to play in the garden with her ball or sit on the sofa next to her humans. We are working on hand signs with Lilya she will come back to you, sit and go to her bed. She is fully housetrained and travels well in the car.

Due to her (recent onset) deafness she requires a lot of attention and reassurance from her prospective adopters and they must be at home for most of the day. We are looking for a home with no other dogs or young children due to her anxiety. She isn’t cat tested. She verty much enjoys time spent in the garden so it would be a bonus if her adopter has a reasonable size garden for her to enjoy.

She has previously had a hip operation on her left leg and has a luxating patella on her right leg. Due to this she has been prescribed anti inflammatory medication and it helps her greatly. Lilya is currently heart clear and has no other known health conditions, she is fully vaccinated and recently had a dental.

Reduced adoption fee applies. Lilya is in foster in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet.
