Isla is a tiny girl who needs a special, patient person to love her. She has not had the best start in life. She is 3 years old and is very timid and unsure of people. We are looking for a very special home for her, ideally someone who is experienced with nervous dogs.
She will need a very friendly, confident dog who she can follow and gain confidence from. She will bark at the resident cat but does not go any further than that. Due to her nervousness, she can not be rehomed with children under 12, and will need a very calm, understanding home.
Isla travels well in a car seat on the back seat of a car with a seat belt attachment. Isla is currently learning to walk on a lead alongside the other dogs and seems to love being out and about. She has started to get closer to her foster mum and will have some cuddles on the sofa and bed.
Unfortunately, Isla does have chiari malformation and dry eye; she is currently on medication for both and is doing so well.
Isla is a special tiny girl who deserves to be loved and cared for by a special calm, patient owner.
Isla is in foster in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.

The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check.
