Isla- Adopted

Isla is a beautiful, sweet little Blenheim girl, she came into rescue from a breeder.

Isla could be younger than we were told, the vet feels she is likely 5-6 years old. Isla is now choosing to sit with her foster parents on the sofa and will lie next to them for hours. She does still cower away when you go to pick her up, so she is left to come over to them. She is a ex breeding girl and is very nervous and timid, she will need a kind Cavalier friend in her forever home to help her continue to gain confidence.

Isla walks beautifully on her lead and loves her walks with her doggie friends, her recall is very good too. She is now fully house trained and will go to door to be let into the garden.

Sadly like so many Cavaliers Isla does have Syringomyelia and needs medication to keep her as comfortable as possible. She air scratches when she is excited and twitters when out walking. She also has a low grade heart murmur, in time it is likely she will need an echocardiogram and medication.

Isla will need a quieter home where she has plenty of space with no children under the age of 12. She would love to be someones little princess. Isla is not cat tested.
