About Ebony and Ginny

Ebony, 7, black and tan, and Ginny, 3 a ruby girl, came into rescue from a pet household.

Ebony is the quieter of the two and Ginny, as soon as you sit down she wants to be on your knee. Since they will be rehomed together there is no need for a resident dog. They are a gentle, loving pair and have settled really well and are happy to be left for short periods. Ebony and Ginny are house trained and sleep in the kitchen at night with foster mum’s dogs.

They race round the garden with the foster mums dogs and are beginning to play with toys. Ginny loves a ball. They absolutely love their walks and are much better on a lead, just a bit of pulling and weaving, they can get excited when they see other dogs and cats, and Ginny will make little excited noises, they will respond if other dogs bark at them. Ebony and Ginny respond to their names, and will come when called, will sit on command and will usually stay in a room when requested

They eat well and are the correct weight which will need to be maintained. They are fed, without problems, with foster mum’s dogs.

The girls are both currently heart clear and healthy.

It is not known how they are with children and cats but are both lovely affectionate girls. Ebony and Ginny have been a joy to foster.

The girls are in foster in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, postcode LN9. Please only apply if you are within 60 minutes of this area.

Please read our adoption procedure prior to filling in the online form. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
