Daisy Cavalier Puppy available
Daisy is a 10-week-old Blenheim Cavalier puppy who came into rescue in sad circumstances. We are looking for an active home for her with an adopter around most of the time to make sure she gets what she needs.
She is a playful and busy little puppy. She loves to tug on the other dogs’ ears. She enjoys jumping on them and playing. Chewing on feet and slippers is also fun for her. Because of this, we would say no older dogs, as they may not appreciate a young puppy jumping in them. It would be lovely if the home had a younger, playful resident dog for Daisy to play tug of war with and chase around.
Daisy is cat-friendly and has been fantastic with the foster family’s cat. She has just had her second vaccination and will be able to start lead training once she arrives at her new home. She is a puppy and does not like being left alone, so she will follow you everywhere. She needs basic training and further toilet training, but she is picking this up. Daisy is sleeping through the night with no accidents, but please be aware that due to her age, there still could, of course, be accidents in the house and throughout the night.
We want a home dedicated to taking her to puppy training and socialisation classes. Her adopters should have plenty of time for her.
Daisy is in foster in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Please research insurance policies with a decent level of cover before applying. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
Please only apply when you have discussed this with all family members, are committed to offering the dog a home, and have fully considered their needs.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within five days of a successful home check. Can we please remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time. You are more than welcome to email us with any [email protected]
