About Charlie

Charlie is a handsome, 8 year old Cavalier boy that came into rescue from a pet home.

Charlie was suffering from anxiety and couldn't settle in his previous home. Since his arrival at his foster home, with the help of the other Cavaliers and a quiet environment he has become a very relaxed and chilled-out boy. He loves to play fetch with his toys and he loves cuddles, in fact he will climb over anyone or any dog in his way to get them! In typical Cavalier fashion he follows his humans absolutely everywhere!

Thankfully and somewhat unusually for the breed, Charlie is a really healthy boy. He doesn't have any known health problems and is heart clear currently. He will be having a dental prior to adoption.

He enjoys his walkies but is slightly dog reactive and will have a good old bark. His fosterer has been doing really well with his training and has been helping Charlie gain some confidence when out walking. At the moment he does very well being walked for approximately 30 minutes twice daily or for one longer one hour walk. Charlie travels very well in the car. He can be left for short periods with no problems, he will have a bark if he can see out of the window.

We are looking for a quiet home for Charlie without young children. He sadly chases cats. He can be rehomed with other dogs or as an only dog. He has requested that we mention that he very much enjoys a BBQ!

Charlie is in foster in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check.
