About Bruno

Bruno is a beautiful 2 year old Cavalier that came into rescue from a pet home.

He really is the sweetest boy, an absolute dream and everyone loves him. He loves to play with his toys and also enjoys plenty of cuddles. He is very sociable and quickly becomes your best friend.

Bruno is a calm and loving boy. He walks very well on his lead and very much enjoys his frequent walkies. He goes off ead and his recall is fantastic. He adores his Cavalier friends in his foster home and all dogs that he meets when he is out and about. He likes to sleep on his bed in his fosterers bedroom so his adopter must allow this.

He is a larger Cavalier and has been on a weight loss regime since his arrival in rescue, this must continue.

Bruno's health is not plain sailing, please read the following very carefully before applying as you must be financially prepared as these conditions will not be covered by insurance as they are pre-existing.

Bruno had a severe bout of spine pain while in rescue. He had an MRI and CT scan and mild lumbosacral disc herniation and disc degeneration was found. It is not currently severe enough to warrant surgical intervention but it may be the case that he could need further specialist consultation and/or surgery in the future. He also has mild chiari malformation, this is being closely monitored. Bruno also has mild luxating patellas, they are of no consequence to him currently.

Bruno needs a caring family that are prepared to love him but also be able to afford his future veterinary treatment. He would like a doggy friend in his new home but he doesn't like cats. Resident children must be 12+.

Bruno is in foster in Bishop Auckland, North East. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet.
