Brandy ruby Cavalier King charles Spaniel

Brandy is a 6-year-old ruby Cavalier girl, a little beauty who came into foster care from a breeding background. She is looking for her forever home.

She has been amazing in foster care—well-behaved, great with other dogs and people. She is loving, obedient, and fun. Brandy loves to snuggle on the sofa with her foster family. She even helps one of her foster brothers by cleaning his face after meals.

Brandy loves cuddles and finds chasing reflections and shadows really entertaining. She sleeps well in a crate in her foster mum’s bedroom at night. By the time her foster mum gets upstairs, Brandy is already in bed waiting for her bedtime treat.

On walks, she needs some training as she gets very excited and pulls on the lead. However, once she starts to tire a little, she walks much better. She is strong at the start of walks, so her new family will need to work on this with her.

While in rescue, Brandy has been spayed. She has recently also had a dental. She has no other health issues at present, though she is on a hydrolysed diet due to past ear problems caused by allergies. She has some hair loss on her back from being a mum to a large litter, but it’s growing back nicely and will be beautiful in no time.

Brandy has been left alone for short periods but will need someone around most of the time. She is quite confident and could be an only dog, provided she has plenty of human company. However, she is also happy living with other dogs.

She hasn’t been cat-tested. Brandy is an all-around good dog and deserves the perfect home!
