Blissy and Jemm- Adopted

Blissy age 11 and Jemm age 14 came into rescue in sad circumstances from a pet home.

Jemm is Blissy's mum and the girls are bonded so we are looking for a very special home for them together. Blissy is the more outgoing of the two and demands lots of fuss and attention! Jemm also loves her cuddles but is more subtle about requesting them!

The girls go for 20 minute walks and thoroughly enjoy them unless it's raining- in which case staying indoors is the preferred option! They travel very well in the car.

Blissy is vocal when she sees dogs when she is out on her walks and has been known to snap at other dogs so distance is required. She isn't particularly strong but needs an experienced adopter. We have tried to socialise Blissy with other dogs but she gets anxious. For this reason we are looking for a home for the girls with no other pets.

Blissy is heart clear which is fantastic. She had a lumpectomy for a cyst while in rescue which was benign and has also had an extensive dental. Jemm is also heart clear! Jemm has a little arthritis so on bad days she can have pain relief but she hasn't needed it too often. Both girls are up to date with vaccinations and have no other known health problems.

The girls need their adopter to be home most of the day, they really would prefer a quieter home. Definitely no other pets or visiting dogs. They also do not like cats and will chase and bark at them. Due to their age we will be reducing their adoption fee- to be discussed with successful applicant.

Blissy and Jemm are in foster in Barton Upon Humber, North Lincolnshire. The successful applicant must live within 90 minutes of the foster home. More information regarding our latest Covid-19 protocol will be made available following a successful telephone interview and home check.
