About Alice

Alice is a gorgeous 9 year old Blenheim Cavalier that is looking for her forever home.

Alice came into rescue in a dreadful state, she had pyometra and was very poorly indeed. We have been on a journey with her since her arrival ensuring her health is as good as it can be ready for her forever life. This girl deserves the most amazing home and for her life to be full of love. We had hoped to rehome Alice with her brother Bruno but he has such severe health problems that he is likely to need to stay under the care of the rescue long term.

Alice is a very loving girl, she adores her humans. She can be cheeky in a funny way and certainly doesn't act her age!

She loves her walks however she does bark while out when she is excited which seems to be a bit of a habit. She can be distracted though so with further training she should be able to overcome this. She races around her garden making sure there aren't any bird or squirrel intruders! She is great with other dogs and everyone that she meets.

Alice loves a snuggle on the sofa and her home comforts are super important. She is ok being left for short periods and quickly settles however her humans must be around most of the time.

Alice has a grade 3 heart murmur, she has had an echocardiogram and her heart is currently not enlarged. She doesn't need heart medication yet but she likely will in the near future. Sadly Alice has chiari malformation with pain, she is on pain relief (approx cost £10 a month) which she will need to remain on.

She needs a forever home with at least one confident dog that can be her best friend. Her adopter must be around most of the time and be willing to put some time into her training. She doesn't like cats and children and visiting children must be 12+.

Reduced adoption fee applies. Alice is in foster in North Lincolnshire. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet.
