Sonny- Adopted

Gorgeous Sonny is a 5 year old Cavalier boy that came into rescue from a pet home in sad circumstances.

Sonny really is a wonderful, laid back chap. He loves everyone he meets and is a dream to walk, he loves his walkies and walks beautifully. He loves cuddles and is very well behaved- with the exception of when you are eating!

He is very, very food motivated and given the chance greedy. He came into rescue obese and we have worked very hard to get weight off him to improve his health. He is an active member of Bliss Cavalier Rescue Fat Club and he will need to remain as a member of the club when in his new home. He tends to bark when you are cooking and eating, we have made some progress with this but the training will need to continue in his forever home.

Sonny has mild Syringomyelia and has had an MRI scan while in rescue. He is currently on Pregablin for pain relief and doing really well. He is on Apoquel for seasonal allergies, this may be able to be stopped after the summer is over. He is heart clear.

Sonny isn't bothered at all by cats so could happily live with a dog savvy cat. He gets on well with other dogs at home and when out and about. He cannot be rehomed with young children due to his Syringomyelia but resident and visiting children over 10 years old would be fine.

Sonny is in foster in North Lincolnshire. You will be required to travel to his foster home for the meet and greet. More information regarding our latest Covid-19 protocol will be made available following a successful telephone interview and home check.
