About Benji and Charlie

Benji and Charlie are 5/6 year old litter brothers that came into rescue from a pet home in sad circumstances.

Benji is the quieter, and when he originally arrived in foster care was a bit nervous, of the two and Charlie is a real cuddle monster, as soon as you sit down wanting to be on your knee. Benji thinks he can fly and tries to chase the birds in the sky!!!!!

Since they will be rehomed together there is no need for a resident dog. They are a gentle pair and have settled really well and are happy to be left for short periods. Benji and Charlie are house trained and sleep in the kitchen at night with foster mum’s dogs.

They race round the garden with the foster mums dogs and are beginning to play with toys, especially a ball. They absolutely love their walks and are much better on a lead, just a bit of pulling and weaving, they can get excited when they see other dogs and cats, they will respond if other dogs bark at them. They are now eating well and are the correct weight which will need to be maintained.

Benji and Charlie respond to their names and will come when called, they will sit and stay, most of the time as requested when foster mum leaves a room. Benji and Charlie are adorable boys who have been no trouble at all to foster.

Both of them have been neutered and had a dental. Charlie has a grade 3 heart murmur, following an echocardiogram at this stage he does not require medication but he will require 6 monthly follow ups.

It is not known how they are with children and cats but are both lovely affectionate boys.
