Nala- Adopted

Nala is a gorgeous Tricolour Cavalier, she is 3 years old and came into rescue from a pet home recently when her owner was no longer able to care for her.

Nala is the most loving girl and would cuddle you 24/7 if she could! We have had to restart her vaccination course so we haven’t been able to assess her in every situation. She was initially very nervous when outside so does need further socialisation and patience when going for her walks. Loud noises and sudden movements outside appear to frighten her but she is starting to improve. She is nervous of traffic but will settle with encouragement and lots of love and praise.

Nala is very active and energetic, she loves toys but does have a habit of shredding them! She loves to play with balls especially chasing them. She will really benefit from plenty of exercise with at least a couple of decent walks every day and lots of stimulation.

She is heart clear at the moment and healthy. She had some hip and knee x rays due a slightly unusual gait and some pain shown during manipulation of her hips, the vets cannot see a problem which is fantastic news. Nala’s adopter will have to continue to monitor this.

As she is quite a nervous girl she needs a home without young children. She is very good with the foster homes resident cat.
