Rocco- Adopted

Rocco came into rescue from a breeder having previously lived in kennels.

Rocco is a handsome and very sweet boy. He is a little timid initially but is becoming more confident every day in his foster home. He's currently in foster with Cavalier boys, he loves other dogs so he needs a home where there are friendly resident dog(s).

His adopter will need to be very patient with him as he is a really fussy eater, this is likely to be behavioural and we hope he improves as his confidence does. He's currently mainly eating cooked chicken and is not at all used to dog food- we feel he may have been fed scraps and his foster mum is working at transitioning him over to a high quality dog food.

He came into rescue with a wound to his ear that was infected which he is having treatment for currently. He is anaemic due to a high burden flea infestation. Rocco has one undescended testicle, he will be neutered next week when his health has had a chance to improve. He suffers from dry eye and has been prescribed Opptimune which he will always need to keep his eyes lubricated.

He is very good with cats but cannot be rehomed with children under 12 or visiting grandchildren etc. as we do not know his full history. He walks very well on the lead and loves his walks, being such a young boy he will need plenty of exercise.
