Wilma and Harper came into rescue in sad circumstances. They are both 3 years old and are loving, sweet girls. They are looking for their forever home together.

Wilma is a little nervous and experiences some separation anxiety, but she’s fine to be left alone for short periods. She absolutely loves cuddles, kisses, and tummy rubs—so much so that she will nudge your hand for more! She is very sweet and gentle, and once she gets to know you, she becomes deeply bonded.

Harper is a sweetheart but also a bit of a diva. She’s cuddly, often pushing her way in for attention, and loves to sit on your lap. Harper is hard of hearing but is learning hand signals and can now follow some directions. She does guard food from other dogs but is fine with Wilma. She’s also good with dogs she meets on walks or when they visit, as long as no food is around.

Wilma and Harper are bonded and sleep together in a crate in their foster mum’s bedroom. They look out for each other, and Harper often cleans Wilma’s face. They love cuddling together, whether it’s in the same bed or on the sofa. They are incredibly sweet and just need the right forever home.

Harper has chiari malformation and mild syringomyelia and is on inexpensive medication which needs to be continued. She’s a little on the chunky side but has lost some weight in foster care. This will need to continue in her new home, and she will need to be monitored when eating or separated from Wilma, as she tends to take Wilma’s food—likely contributing to her weight gain.

They are heart-clear and have no other health problems besides Harper’s CM/SM. Both girls have been spayed while in rescue and are fully vaccinated and up to date with parasite preventatives.

They have previously lived with cats and are better suited to a home with older children.
