Molly ruby Cavalier King Charles

Molly is a sweet five-year-old girl who came into rescue from a family home under unfortunate circumstances. She is looking for a loving home.

She has settled into her foster home very well and gets along nicely with her foster dog brothers, though she is quite independent of them. Molly loves nothing more than cuddles, kisses, and attention from people, and she thrives on human company. She needs someone to be around most of the time.

While she is fine with children aged eight and older, she has not been tested with cats and shows a bit of prey drive when she spots a cheeky squirrel or bird on the garden fence.

Molly can be a bit of a diva at times and can be a little needy, so she needs firm boundaries to prevent her from being spoiled or getting her way all the time. She is a clever girl and understands when you are being firm if she tries to push her luck. That said, there has been some compromise—she has been allowed to sleep on the bed and knows which side is hers. Molly sleeps well at night, walks nicely on the lead, and has no issues meeting other dogs when out and about. She loves saying hello to anyone who will give her attention.

Molly is a funny little character who enjoys playing with her toys, often bringing them over for a game of fetch.

While in foster care, she had a heart scan and has now started medication, which she takes without any issues. She has also begun pain relief for Chiari malformation symptoms, and during her time in rescue, she had a dental scale and polish, thankfully with no extractions. Molly is up to date with her vaccinations and parasite treatments.

She will be a lovely addition to the right family, which will be able to give her the attention and care she needs.

Molly is in foster in Wakefield, Yorkshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
Please only apply when you have discussed this with all family members, are committed to offering the dog a home, and have fully considered their needs.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within five days of a successful home check. Can we please remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time.
