Ruby is an almost 10-year-old Cavalier looking for her forever home. She came into rescue as sadly her owner was too poorly to care for her.
A reduced adoption fee applies.
This girl behaves like a much younger dog, bounces around, and is such a happy girl! She is in foster care with other dogs and is absolutely no bother at all. She can be rehomed with or without other dogs. She is a real pleasure to look after. Ruby is great with children.
She is house-trained and a really good girl. Ruby absolutely loves her walks and will even sing to you!
Ruby has a grade 1-2 heart murmur and slight arthritis in her back legs; she is on a joint supplement, which is really helping her. Ruby has syringomyelia, which hasn’t impacted her quality of life since starting medication; she is on inexpensive medication for this and is doing really well. Ruby is overweight, and her adopters must stick to her diet, as she will really benefit from losing more weight.
She is spayed and had extensive dental work while in rescue. Her vaccinations and parasite treatments are also up to date.
Ruby is in foster in Elsecar, near Barnsley, Yorkshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
Please only apply when you have discussed this with all family members, are committed to offering the dog a home, and have fully considered their needs.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within five days of a successful home check. Can we please remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time.
