Humphrey a Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Humphrey is a lovely little 11-month-old Blenheim Cavalier looking for his forever home.
He is a cheeky chap and loves to play with his pals. He is full of beans and would love a home with another playful dog. Humps is super easygoing and loves everyone. He really enjoys being outside running around, and his recall is getting pretty good.
In the evenings, he is usually exhausted from zooming around all day, so he loves to snuggle up on the sofa with his doggy pals and fosterers.
He travels extremely well, clipped into the car’s back seat, and loves to go out. We are looking for an active home for him with adopters who are around most of the time.
He had previously struggled to gain weight and was sensitive to some foods. He has done extremely well on a veterinary hydrolysed diet, which he must remain on. He loves his food and has gained enough weight to be up for adoption.  Currently, he doesn’t have any other health issues, but before coming to the rescue, he had pneumonia and giardia, both of which were successfully treated. He also had an adverse reaction to his puppy vaccinations; we will discuss everything during telephone interviews.
Humphrey can be rehomed with children over 8 years, and a dog-savvy cat would be fine. Humphrey does need a home with at least one playful dog, ideally a Cavalier if possible or another small breed.
Humphrey is in foster in North Lincolnshire. His adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
Please only apply when you have discussed this with all family members, are committed to offering the dog a home, and have fully considered their needs.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within five days of a successful home check. Can we please remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time.
