Dora Tricolour Cavalier King Charles
Dora is a gorgeous 4-year-old Tricolour Cavalier girl who came to the rescue from a breeding establishment. She is looking for a wonderful forever home.

She can be quite shy but loves to be around you at all times and will bark if you go to another room and close the door. She does have slight separation anxiety, so she would suit someone who will be home most of the time.

Dora is doing really well with her house training and follows the resident dogs in the foster home. She loves to get out and walks well on a lead but can get startled easily, but this will improve with time. She travels well in the car in the back seat with her harness seat belt, curls up, and goes to sleep.
She is heart clear, she is on inexpensive medication for Chiari Malformation pain which she needs to remain on. She is also being treated for dry eye. She underwent a dental, which she has now fully recovered from.

Dora is a very loving girl who is growing in confidence daily and will now allow you to have a little cuddle and stroke. Patience will be key. She isn’t bothered by the resident cat and could be homed with older, calmer children. She would benefit from a confident resident dog around her age who would continue to help with her confidence in and out of the house.

Dora is in foster in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
Please only apply when you have discussed this with all family members, are committed to offering the dog a home, and have fully considered their needs.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within five days of a successful home check. Can we please remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time.
