Zola 5 year old Blenheim Cavalier
Zola is a sweet, 5-year-old little Blenheim Cavalier girl who came from a breeding establishment. She is looking for her forever home. A reduced adoption fee applies.
She has done well in her foster home, getting on well with dogs and people alike. She is a quiet, calm girl who is a perfect lap dog. She enjoys her walks, cuddles, and affection and is a loyal girl with loads of love.
Her house training and lead training are progressing well. Because of her background, she needs training in the basics, but she is learning quickly. She sleeps well at night in a crate in her foster mum’s bedroom and is becoming a foodie, trying different healthy snacks.
Zola loves cuddling with other dogs and needs them to teach her the way in her new happy life, so she will need a resident dog in her new home.
She has been ok meeting children but is a little shy, so dog-savvy children or visiting children 10+ who understand that dogs sometimes need their own space would be ok.
While in rescue, Zola had a heart scan and is now on heart medication. She has mitral valve disease with a loud murmur, but things are stable currently. Zola also has chiari malformation with pain and is on medication to control the headaches. She has benefited from extensive dental care while being in rescue and has also been spayed. Her vaccines and parasite preventatives are all up to date.
Zola just needs the home that she deserves: quiet and calm, with nice walks to complement her gentle, quiet personality.
Zola is in foster in Wakefield, Yorkshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
Please only apply when you have discussed this with all family members, are committed to offering the dog a home, and have fully considered their needs.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within five days of a successful home check. Can we please remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time. You are more than welcome to email us with any [email protected]
