Hope Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Hope is a gorgeous 6-year-old Blenheim Cavalier from a breeding establishment. She is now looking for her forever home.

She is a loving little girl whose confidence is growing daily. Her cheeky/playful side is showing. She will play tug with toys. She has started to trust humans and will happily come for cuddles, get on your knee, or put her head on your shoulder.

She is a typical Cavalier and loves to be with her human everywhere.

Hope can be left for short periods without any problems.  She has learnt to walk on the lead alongside the other resident dogs and loves nothing more than exploring and being out on walks. She is currently being taken for 1 or 2 x 30-minute walks through the week, with longer walks at the weekends.

Hopes house training is going really well and she follows the resident dogs. She loves to sleep on the bed with her humans through the night and will sleep on the sofa during the day. She travels extremely well in the car and curls up on the back seat quite happily.

Hope would prefer a quieter home with a confident resident dog to help her grow in confidence. Hope is not cat-friendly and has barked at young children and does not seem to like them around her. Children 10+.

She does have a moderate heart murmur and has had a heart scan; no medication is required at the moment. Her heart must be monitored, and she will need another echocardiogram in 6-12 months. Hope does have mild Chiari malformation pain, which is being well controlled on inexpensive pain relief, which she will need to carry on taking. She is up to date with vaccinations and parasite preventatives and has had a dental while in rescue.

Hope is in foster in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. His adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check. Can we please remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time.
