Nala is a beautiful one-year-old Cavalier looking for her forever home. She is doing brilliantly and is the happiest little girl.
She is incredibly loving and enjoys snuggling up with her humans in the evenings after a busy day of exercise, stimulation and wrestling with her little pals. But ultimately, she does need this exercise and stimulation to maintain her happiness and confidence.
Nala loves playing with other young dogs and is probably too lively for quieter, older dogs. Ideally, a similarly aged small and active dog will be in her forever home. She becomes distressed if separated from her dog friends, so she really does need a confident dog to help her. She loves a cuddle from everyone she meets!
She has seen the neurologist and been diagnosed by MRI with chiari malformation with pain. She came to the rescue due to behaviour issues, but now she has pain relief she has built confidence. She is well-managed on inexpensive pain relief. Thankfully, Nala’s behaviour instantly improved when she was started on pain relief combined with some confidence-building training. She has no other known health issues. She is spayed and up to date with parasite preventatives.
Nala needs her humans to be around most of the time. She cannot be rehomed with cats or children under 10. We are looking for an active and very committed home for her. She is an absolute sweetheart and whoever adopts her will be extremely fortunate.
Nala is in foster in is in foster in North Lincolnshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
