Jessie, a truly beautiful girl, came to rescue through no fault of her own. At just over 2 years old, Jessie is exceptionally affectionate and craves human company.
She desires a home where someone is around for most of the day because she tends to develop separation anxiety, although she’s well-behaved in a crate when alone.
In her permanent home, Jessie will require further house training. While she isn’t entirely house-trained, her fosterer has made significant progress with her. She’s gradually learning outdoor potty habits and signalling her needs.
Jessie is a bit on the thin side and would benefit from gaining a little weight. She has taken quite a liking to her meals, especially chicken and carrots added to her normal meals.
Jessie is a good walker on a lead and an excellent car passenger, often curling up to nap immediately.
Healthwise, she has no known health problems.
She would do well either as a solo pet or alongside a self-assured, independent resident dog. While she doesn’t chase resident cats, she might occasionally bark at them. Due to her past experiences and initial shyness with strangers, a home with children above the age of 12 would be most suitable.

Jessie is in foster in is in foster in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. Her adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
