Levi black and tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Levi is a very handsome 7 year old that came to the rescue from a pet home in very sad circumstances. He is looking for a wonderful forever home.

He is a very friendly, happy boy that loves to be with his humans for lots of cuddles. Levi is a very easy boy to look after he’s obedient, walks well on a lead, travels well in the car either in a crate or on a seatbelt attached to his harness and can be left for short periods without any issues.

He is fully housetrained and will quietly ask to be let out when needed. Whilst in rescue, he has completed his vaccination course, flea, tick and worm treatments. He has a medium-grade heart murmur and is awaiting an echocardiogram to check if his heart is enlarged, which may result in him starting heart medication ( we will update soon ). His right knee is luxating, and his left hip has been X-rayed, showing a long-standing trauma to his hip socket, for which he copes well with pain relief when needed. Levi sadly has mild sm/cm, which is well managed with inexpensive pain relief, approx £10 per month. Levi is suffering from mild skin allergies, so we have started him on hypoallergenic food, and his condition has improved greatly.

We are looking for a home where his adopters are around most of the time. He can be rehomed as an only dog or with an older quiet dog. We understand that he has lived with cats, so he could live with dog-savvy cats. Children and visiting children over the age of 8.

Levi is in foster in Scarborough. His adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy/ OR have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract OR a letter from their employer proving their work-from-home status. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check. Please can we remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time. You are more than welcome to email us with any [email protected]
