Lena is a gorgeous 8-year-old Blenheim Cavalier, and she is looking for a wonderful forever home.
She is pretty laid back and a very easy dog to have around at home. She gets on really well with other dogs, enjoys a bark at the birds and squirrels and enjoys a diva lifestyle.
Lena is extremely friendly when meeting new people and enjoys sitting on your head or lap! She is a bit vocal for the first few minutes in the car but soon settles down with her pals. She enjoys her walks a lot but can sometimes be a bit anxious in new environments.
She has a left-sided heart murmur, approximately grade 1-2 at the moment, which must be monitored. She has chiari malformation pain, and mild syringomyelia, so she is on pain relief for this. Since starting the medication, she really is such a transformed girl. She was in a serious amount of pain before. Lena is deaf, but it doesn’t affect her quality of life. She has no other known health problems and has had an extensive dental while in rescue, along with a vaccination course, flea and worm treatment and the usual things.
Lena is looking for a home with at least one other friendly dog. She is not cat tested. She can live with children and visiting children 8+.
Lena is in foster in North Lincolnshire. Her adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check. Please can we remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time.
