Belle is a lovely Blenheim cavalier that came into rescue from a pet home and is approximately 5 years old.

Belle is a very nervous girl when meeting new people and in new situations, but she loves her four-legged friends, so we are looking for a special home that will give her the time, patience and space to adjust to her new home with the help of a resident dog.

Her anxiety has improved greatly whilst in rescue and hopefully will continue to improve in her forever home. She loves her walks and walks well on a lead, she is very friendly when meeting other dogs and their humans. She travels well in the car, either in a crate or on a seatbelt attached to her harness and is fully housetrained.

Belle currently sleeps in her “safe space” a partly covered crate in the kitchen at night; during the day she sleeps on the sofa near her humans. She can happily be left for short periods of time.

She is currently heart clear. Both her knees are luxating, and they are currently low grade. She does not require intervention at this time but may need medication in the future, which will not be covered under a new insurance policy. She has no other known health problems at this time.

Belle’s adopters must be around most of the time and visiting children must be over 12 years old.

Belle is in foster in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Her adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.

The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check. Please can we remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time, you are more than welcome to email us with any [email protected]
