Aster 1 year old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Aster is a gorgeous 1-year-old Blenheim Cavalier boy that came into rescue from a breeder, he is looking for a wonderful forever home.
He is full of life and loves nothing more than giving cuddles. He can be very wary of new people due to his background and very much looks to the other dogs for emotional support. He is a cheeky boy, and his puppy side is undoubtedly showing; he will play with toys and the other dogs in the foster home and can be quite mischievous.
He loves his food and will steal from the other dogs and your food, given a chance. Aster would benefit from puppy classes and training, which would help his confidence.
Aster is starting to learn to walk on a harness and lead, although he will also benefit from a confident resident dog to help him with his confidence whilst out on walks. He is clean around the house and will let you know when he needs to go out. He travels and settles very well in the car, he is used to sitting in the back seat with a harness and seat belt. Aster likes to sleep on his humans bed and will cuddle up to you. (thankfully, he isn’t a snorer!)
He has no medical issues and is a fit and healthy young boy. He has been neutered and is vaccinated, wormed and treated for parasites.
Aster is an amazing and loving boy; he is an absolute joy around the house. He is a typical Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who likes to be with his human everywhere and will scratch closed doors to get to you. He can be left for short periods with no issues but does need his adopters to be around for most of the time.
He will bark and chase cats – he has been cat tested in foster. He must have at least one kind and confident doggy friend in his forever home. Resident and visiting children 8+.
Aster is in foster in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. His adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check.
