Bailey Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Bailey is a 7-year-old Blenheim Cavalier boy, he came into foster from a home in extremely sad circumstances.

He is such a lovable gentle giant who just wants to be with his human, he will happily sleep in front of the fire or on your knee. He loves to have a nice slow potter around the garden and loves nothing more than a nice slow walk so he can get his sniffs in.

Since coming into rescue Bailey has lost nearly 3kg and his adopters will need to keep up with his diet and exercise regime in his new home. Bailey did have accidents when he first arrived in rescue but is now fully house-trained and can last all through the night. Bailey likes to sleep in the bedroom and will sleep either on the bed or the floor. Bailey travels really well in the car with no sickness or anxiety, he does sit and look out the window for the first part of the journey but soon settles and goes to sleep.

Bailey would suit a relaxed family as he is so laid back and could be with a dog of similar age or older, but he would also be happy as an only dog. Bailey is cat friendly as he is currently living with 2 cats at his foster home and he is not bothered by them.

He does have a moderate heart murmur and is on inexpensive heart medication that he will need to remain on. He has been neutered and had a dental while in rescue so he is tip top, ready for his forever home.

Bailey is an absolutely amazing loving boy and an absolute joy around the house, he just wants to be your buddy!

Bailey is in foster in Pontefract, Yorkshire. His adopter must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating that they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must take place within 5 days of a successful home check.
