Betty is a gorgeous 4-year-old Tricolour Cavalier girl that came into rescue from a pet home.
She’s a friendly girl when greeting people and dogs although she can be slightly nervous in new situations. Betty loves to snuggle next to her humans she will follow you wherever you go, and cheekily bark at you when she wants to play.
Betty is a bit of a fussy eater and sometimes has to be hand fed to encourage her to eat from her bowl or licky mat. Her eating has improved greatly, however, patience will be needed to continue encouraging her to improve her eating.
She travels well in the car either in a crate or in a harness attached to a seat belt, she enjoys her walkies and walks very well on the lead. She is fully house-trained and responds well to her name and basic commands.
Betty has mild separation anxiety when left but she does settle quickly in her safe space within a crate or pen. She can be left for short periods of time.
She is a healthy girl, she is currently heart clear and has no known health conditions. Whilst in rescue she has been spayed along with a minor dental and vaccination course.
We are looking for a dog-free home for this lovely girl where her adopters are at home most of the time. She is not cat tested. She could live with dog-savvy children or visiting children over the age of 14.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check.
