About Dolly

Dolly is a 7 year old little diva girl that is looking for her forever family as an only dog.

Dolly is a loving girl who enjoys nothing better than a snuggle on the sofa, she is very much a lap dog given the chance. She is very human orientated and needs someone with her for most of the time, she can be left for short periods.

Dolly does not like other dogs or small furries so absolutely must live as an only dog. She has hearing loss which contributes to her behaviour. She is absolutely fine on walks if she sees other dogs, she doesn't bark at them but does want reassurance from her human. We use a 'warning space needed' lead so will pass this on to the adopter. As she is a light dog it is better all round if she can be picked up if another dog gets too close to her, she will ask to be picked up if she is anxious. She loves meeting new humans and very much enjoys a fuss.

She has a funny little character and is very comical at times. She has picked up hand signals really well and she is good with her routine to the point of if her evening meal is running late she will let you know! She is house trained and a very easy dog to take care of as long as her needs are met such as her walkies and tummy rubs!

While in rescue she has been spayed and had a dental and a MRI scan. Thankfully she is heart clear. She has mild dry eye in one eye for which she needs drops. She has mild chiari malformation so is on daily medication- this is very inexpensive. Dolly has Bells palsy- a facial paralysis- there is no treatment for this and mild idiopathic vestibular disease for which no treatment is needed.

Dolly is a huge diva looking to be a spoilt princess in a home with no other pets.
