Ruby – Adopted

Ruby is a beautiful, 5 year old ruby Cavalier looking for her forever home.

Ruby loves to be cuddled and is keen to have all attention possible on her! Her personality is really shining through now, she is a happy, waggy girl and she is ever so human orientated and wants to be as close as she can. Her favourite time of day is sitting on the sofa in the evenings, relaxing with her foster mum.

She walks really well on a lead but does needs reassurance when strangers and other dogs are around. She is happy to meet them as long as she trusts you to keep her safe so you must be confident when out and about and with training her.

She is looking for a home with a relaxed, laid back doggy friend as she doesn't like excitable dogs. Her humans must be around most of the time, she does suffer from anxiety. She has been ok being left for short periods with her calm foster brothers, they have really helped her.

Ruby came into rescue with a large mammary tumour, this was successfully removed. The tumour was sent to the lab and found to be a low grade carcinoma, the surgeon got good margins. She is heart clear and otherwise healthy.

Ruby is an nervous girl so cannot be rehomed with children under 12. She is not cat tested.

Ruby is in foster in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet.
