Milo and Luca- Adopted

Milo and Luca are gorgeous Cavalier boys looking for a very special home after coming into rescue in very sad circumstances after their owner passed away.

Milo the Blenheim boy is 7 years old, he is stunning with the most beautiful nature and temperament. It can take him a little while to come to you, once he trusts you he rewards with some much love and affection. He loves a cuddle when he wants a one he will let you know by tapping you with his paw.

He loves walking and tries to rush ahead, he is a very strong dog and does pull on his lead initially, he has an obsession with bikes and motorbikes so will need a strong adopter as he tries to veer towards them on the road. Milo will happily walk for an hour or more.

Luca and Milo will happily play in the garden together, they love just sitting in the sun relaxing. They are a bonded pair and must be rehomed together.

Luca is also 7 years old, he is an absolute bundle of energy and wants to be with you all the time for strokes and cuddles! He does suffer from separation anxiety, when his foster carer has left him for short periods he does cry but settles himself eventually. This is something his adopter will need to continue working on with him.

He also pulls on his lead when walking, we hope this will improve with more of a daily exercise routine in their new home. Luca loves to eat grass on his walks and will lick anything he can find on his travels on the pavements!

Luca adores Milo and washes his eyes, face and legs if he can but Milo does the same in return. They are both house trained and are good travellers in the car. They love life and are two balls of energy especially during the day so really are not looking for a retirement home- they want to be out enjoying themselves as much as possible!

Milo has a moderate grade heart murmur and has just started medication for this following an echocardigram which he will need to continue to take. He has had a dental with extractions, been neutered and had treatment for his ears while in rescue.

Luca has a loud heart murmur he has some enlargement of his heart and has started medication following an echocardiogram. He is not at all symptomatic. He has also been neutered, had a dental, been treated for ear infections and had a vaccine course while in rescue.

Milo and Luca absolutely adore each other so are being rehomed as a pair. Their adopter must be home most of the time. They can be rehomed with other dogs or without but not cats as they do chase them. Children must be 10+

Milo and Luca are in foster in Darlington, County Durham. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet.
